About the Daily Crime and Incident Logs –
The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department maintains a daily crime and incident log.
The crime and incident log describes the nature of the crime or incident, date it was reported, and general location of the crime and disposition of the complaint, if known.
The Sheriff’s Department typically updates the reports frequently, however, there are times when information may be withheld from the log, such as if there is clear and convincing evidence that releasing such information would jeopardize an ongoing criminal investigation or the safety of an individual, cause a suspect to flee or evade detection or result in the destruction of evidence.
In such instances, information may be withheld until the adverse effect is no longer likely to occur.
This forum is to help let the community know about things that may be happening in and around the area, and to be made aware of certain patterns of criminal activies, and to keep records of certain requests sent to the Sheriff’s Department for information that you may be interested in. We hope this can be used for more community transparency.
