38-year-old arrested for attempting to steal a car from Victorville Best Buy parking lot

VICTORVILLE, Calif. (myVVNG.com) — In a recent incident at the Best Buy parking lot in Victorville, law enforcement successfully apprehended a 38-year-old male, identified as Kyle Zuniga, a resident of Moreno Valley.

Zuniga’s arrest occurred on January 22, 2024, at about 8:23 pm, after he allegedly attempted to steal a vehicle from the store’s parking lot located in the 12100 block of Mall Blvd.

The incident was reported to the Victorville Police Department, who quickly dispatched officers to the scene.

Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered Zuniga in possession of burglary tools, further complicating the charges against him. He was promptly taken into custody and transported to the High Desert Detention Center for booking.

Zuniga’s charges include, attempted Grand Theft Auto (GTA) and possession of burglary tools.

According to public booking records, Zuniga is no longer in custody and was released on January 24th.
